Years after WoPH has been abandoned due to its super mega sloppyprogramming, luningning is back to make things right and continue thepinoy map-making legacy.

More versions with over the top spells and heroes are on their way!

The 'no-control' and 'disconnected from server' bugs have been fixedand you can ACTUALLY play this map with friends ON LAN When you'rewaiting for a dota teammate to come.

MAJOR CHANGES:
-10 new heroes(for V2.1b only!)
-penduko's leaks fixed
-reduced cecon HP regen to 4 from 5
-Pedro penduko's chain combo and bat boomerang have been made more efficient
-Finisher now does not work if Rai has more than 1 negative buff
-Spell binding works only if target unit is not allied
-Kadiliman's Rain dance do not do damage
-Volta's attack speed reduced from 1.85 to 2.0
-Volta's base attack damage reduced from 34 to 15

To boost the documentation of the WOPH Heroes, a WOPH Hero Documentation Contest has been launched.
All WOPH Community members are invited to join.
The member with the most number of QUALITY entries by the end of August 2007 wins.

Please follow the format of Lime.
Once your WOPH Hero Documentation entry has been approved, it will be LOCKED and listed here.
Once an entry has been listed here, the other contestants cannot submit an entry about the same hero.

WOPH Top Ten Heroes Contest

There will be a contest; each member could submit/post a max of 3 heroes as entry for this event.

At April 15, the event closes and Lime will personaly judge, comment, and rate your heroes, the ten heroes with the highest scores gets to include in WoPH V2.1

All former heroes will be added to the Old Heroes Category of WoPH

Rules:

-No Target Spells that are not Ultimates, this may sound absurd but here is the catch.... for example the spell is based on storm bolt... here is the conversion: all target spells will be turned to slam(effect on hotkey) spells by using WoPH's "innovative" casting engine. When you press the hotkey, a dummy(invisible) is spawned and will automatically cast storm bolt to the NEAREST VISIBLE HERO. This is a new feature in WoPH, no more targeting... just press the hotkey and the game will stun the nearest Hero Target. Again this only applies to non-ultimate skills.

-No Spells that are entirely modified Warcraft Spells.

-Other Previous WoPH settings such as HP/Str, etc,. still apply.

-Heroes need not have 4 spells to learn + 1(attribute bonus). In WoPH V2.1 all heroes are different in style. Some even possess no skill at all but in a way they are properly compensated.

-Your numbers (damage, etc.) are subject to change... my changes but the concept will be preserved.

-These rules are also subject to change due time.

Map Creator Announces end of WOPH Mercenaries series

The map creator of the WOPH Mercenaries series has backed out of the little known project. Ending with WOPH Mercenaries v1.0G, the creator has cited unknown reasons for the retirement. But fans of the series don't need to worry because he has announced full support for the War Of The Philippine Heroes project under Sir Lime.

WOPH: War Of The Philippine Heroes

WOPH (War Of The Philippine Heroes) is a Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne custom game. The concept of the game is just like DOTA All-Stars (Defense Of The Ancients). The main objective is to defend your base and destroy the opponent's base. You can choose from over 30 Pinoy based heroes and each has it's own unique abilities. The map is updated from time to time to improve gameplay. This is courtesy of the game creator named Luningning_The_2nd with the help of the game testers who play a big role in making this game more competitive. Teamplay is a vital part in this epic game. The mere clicking of the mouse can mean a win or loss but either way, WOPH is an enjoyable game for all those nationalistic Philippine gamers. Mabuhay!
